By using BargePulse ("Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
BargePulse provides AIS-based vessel tracking and machine-learned grain barge freight rate forecasts. AIS data is sourced from MarineTraffic; forecast data is generated by our proprietary AI model trained on USDA Grain Transportation Report data.
2. Accounts & access
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Sharing an account across multiple users is a violation of these terms; multi-seat plans are available.
3. Subscriptions
Paid plans bill via Stripe. The 14-day free trial requires a credit card; you may cancel any time during the trial without charge. Annual plans are prepaid; monthly plans renew on the anniversary of subscription start. Refunds for the current period are available within the 30-day money-back window on first annual purchase only.
4. Acceptable use
- No scraping or bulk re-distribution of AIS or forecast data.
- No use of forecasts as the sole basis for material commercial decisions — they are decision-support, not investment advice.
- No abuse of free-tier limits via multiple accounts.
- No interfering with the Service's operation.
5. Disclaimer & liability
The Service is provided "AS IS". Forecasts are probabilistic and may be wrong. We are not liable for any commercial loss arising from forecast inaccuracy, AIS coverage gaps, or service downtime. Total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
6. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Changes
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for material changes (emailed to subscription holders).
